I decided to start this blog at the end of August 2013 because I recently graduated and although I have a part time job I felt like I had too much free time and nothing to stimulate my brain. I've been reading blogs for years and although I don't have the best writing skills I believe I've got stuff to say. Publishing it in a blog will be of benefit to me and hopefully to those who read it.
Shanie says... is me reviewing food (primarily healthy), testing recipes (both my own and TV etc), and in the future posting more fitness related articles. I'm starting slow but enjoying it so far. So now is time for the, well, 'facts'.
1. I graduated at Brunel Univeristy, West London in Sports and Exercise Science with a First Class Honours.
1a. Still to this day I cannot believe I got a @!"*&$%"*! first
2. I am a qualified fitness instructor and dance teacher.
3. I analyse runners gait (i.e. style) part time and give them training advice
4. I like frozen bananas alot.
5. Japanese is probably my favourite cuisine.
6. I studied in San Francisco for a year - and miss it dearly!
7. I can't drive and nor do I want to.
7a. I hate public transport.
8. I have two cats: Rosie and Spidey (indpired by Spider Pig from the Simpsons movie)
9. My nan goes to music festivals.
10. To complete the list; I was deputy head girl at my school.
Shanie says: 'Writing about yourself is tricky but it really helps when applying for jobs so don't undersell yourself, EVER.'
